Životopis

Narodila se v Minnesota City, Minnesota, 10. listopadu 1874. Studovala na Alma College v Ontariu . Její otec George měl patent na proces mletí mouky .

Dne 20. listopadu 1895 se provdala za Harveyho Samuela Firestonea , který o pět let dříve založil společnost Firestone Tire and Rubber Company . Byla matkou Harvey S.Firestone, Jr. , a Leonard Firestone , babička Brooks Firestone , a prababička Williama Claye Forda, Jr. , Andrew Firestone a Nick Firestone .
