globalize[edit]

Audi is not a North American company. Hence this timeline should rather present a world wide viewpoint rather than a north american. The differentiating names of older Audi models in North America can still be mentioned in a world wide timeline. Once the timeline has been 'globalized' the template should be moved to "Modern Audi vehicles".--84.170.247.38 10:57, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest to merge this template and Template:Audi (Europe) timeline 1970 to date (or rather delete this one), since the differences between them are minimal unlike Ford or Nissan. -- NaBUru38 01:06, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the differences are minimal. Some models didn't come here, or were renamed, or came different year then Europe, etc. This template clears that up, whereas even the articles seem to get confusing about what NA differences were.

I also believe the R8 should be listed as a supercar. Go to the definition, the R8 is right there in the gallery! --MacMan2626 08:11, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
